About IPPRA

Indiana Petite Paws Rescue Angels was formed in April 2004. We came about when a group of Yorkie Lovers, who met over the years on the Internet because of our love for the Yorkshire Terrier.

As our friendships grew and bonded, we saw a need out there for all the unwanted and abandoned Yorkies. We felt compelled to join together and make a difference.

Most of us have been members of National Rescue Groups but we found it became necessary to scale it down to a smaller localized area so we can cover it more efficiently.

We are a not for profit organization and rely solely on our volunteers and donations. We are an approved 501(c)(3) organization. Donations are tax-deductible.

We are incorporated in the State of Indiana.

To promote education about Spay and Neuter of companion animals

To prevent cruelty and abuse of any companion animal especially Yorkshire Terriers

To change laws that allow commercial abuse of Yorkshire Terriers and other companion animals

To rescue, rehabilitate and re-home toy dogs especially Yorkshire Terriers

To raise funds to promote all of the above

The IPPRA Board of Trustees manages the organization and supervises the Board of Directors, manages the disposition and solicitation of Donations, Public Affairs, Events and Education. The Board of Trustees is the ultimate corporate authority for Indiana Petite Paws Rescue Angels, Inc.
